INDIANAPOLIS -- Police arrested a man Tuesday accused of shooting an off-duty firefighter last month.
The arrest followed a standoff with SWAT officers near Carson Avenue and Perry Street on the south side of Indianapolis.
Police said the suspect, 37-year-old Jerry Glover, was wanted in connection with the March 13 shooting of firefighter Michael "Kevin" Gill.

Gill was shot in the torso while visiting a friend's house on the 2200 block of East 38th Street.
Police said Glover used a Sentry Arms .223-caliber rifle in the shooting.
