SWAT, Indianapolis police arrest two people after narcotics, stolen gun found in west side home

INDIANAPOLIS – Two people were arrested after Indianapolis police and SWAT officers discovered narcotics in a home on Indianapolis’ west side Thursday morning.

IMPD detectives and SWAT officers went into a home in the 1700 block of Pele Place after an investigation revealed heroin had been dealt out of the home.

Police arrested James Conley, 33, and Ernest Spye, 34, who were found inside the home.

During the arrest, officers found black tar heroin, cocaine, marijuana, a stolen gun and over $1,000 in cash.

Spye was preliminarily charged with dealing narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of a firearm by a serious violent felon.

Conley was preliminarily charged with dealing narcotics, possession of narcotics and possession of marijuana.
