INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis SWAT officers ended a standoff peacefully Friday night with a suspect barricaded in a hotel room on the northwest side.
The suspect reportedly barricaded himself inside a room at the In Town Suites located at 5820 W. 85th Street, just across from the Traders Point Shopping Mall.
Officers were initially called to the area on a report of shots fired.
Officers were eventually able to make contact with the man, who came out peacefully and was taken into custody without incident.
