INDIANAPOLIS -- Police are still searching for a suspect after an hour-long SWAT standoff in Fountain Square.
Officers attempted to stop a person driving a possibly stolen moped Saturday night when police tried to make a traffic stop.
The suspect fled on foot, leading a brief chase.
The SWAT team and negotiators responded to a call in the 1900 block of Prospect Street near Randolph Street when they learned the suspect was not inside a nearby home as they thought.
The suspect has not yet been identified.
It is unknown if the suspect was armed.
Police believed the suspect is wanted for multiple warrants and other charges.
