INDIANAPOLIS — Three former Indiana Task Force One members, firefighters who responded to Ground Zero on Sept. 11, 2001, and have since passed away, were honored Friday.
The names of Sam Scott, Jacqueline Phillips and Barry Green were added to the Indiana Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Downtown Indianapolis.
All three conducted search-and-rescue efforts for Indiana Task Force One after the World Trade Center towers were attacked.
This was all part of the Indiana Fallen Firefighters annual remembrance ceremony.
