LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- A three-semi-truck collision claimed the life of one of the drivers Monday on the Indiana Toll Road.
The collision happened around 1:00 p.m. Monday near the 112.6-mile marker in LaGrange County.
Indiana State Police said one of the semi drivers had stopped on the outer shoulder of the road due to an issue with his truck when another eastbound semi pulling a tanker struck it. The semi tanker then collided with another eastbound semi-truck.
The semi tanker caught fire from the collision. The driver of that truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another drive involved in the crash was taken to a nearby hospital for his injuries.
The identities of the drivers involved weren't immediately released.
