INDIANAPOLIS -- The clock is running out for one a community's push to rebuild their neighborhood.
$125,000 is needed to finish an approved renovation at Tarkington Park.
The $5.8 million project broke ground with the intention of adding water slides, a cafe and a dog park. The city and the Central Indiana Community Foundation have committed to contributing $400,000 each.

These are matched funds, so the community needs to raise $200,000 or risk losing the money.
Residents say the park improvements are desperately needed.
"Sometime you go to the park with your children and there would be people sleeping in the park, so the element was not a very good element coming into the park," Beverly Turner said.
The community has donated more than $70,000. The deadline to commit is December 9.
