MONROVIA, Ind. -- A teacher's aid in Monrovia has resigned after allegations that she was having an inappropriate relationship with a teenage boy.

The woman was reportedly a teacher's aid at Monrovia Elementary School. She's accused of sending nude photos of herself and suggestive texts to a 16-year-old boy earlier this year.

Monroe-Gregg Schools Superintendent William Roberson released the following statement on Thursday:

"Upon learning of inappropriate pictures on a cell phone we immediately contacted Child Protective Services and Morgan County Sheriff Department officers. She immediately resigned. It is now a police matter."

Officials with the Morgan County Sheriff's Office confirm they are investigating the allegations, but because they could not say whether the woman is facing charges at this time, we are not releasing her name.
