INDIANAPOLIS -- Members of the Teamster's Local 135 will be making a special delivery to help Indiana's neighbors to the north.
Thursday morning, they are delivering more than 1,000 cases of bottled water to Flint, Mich.
The city is dealing with a tainted water problem.
Flint's tap water became contaminated after the city switched from the Detroit water system to the Flint River as a cost-cutting move.
Officials say the water lacked adequate treatment and caused lead to leach from old pipes.
People in Flint are relying on the help of others -- offering up free bottled water, filters, replacement cartridges and water testing kits.
