PRINCES LAKES, Ind. -- A teddy bear found by a girl in Princes Lakes is missing its family and you can help reunite them.
Amanda Fields says the bear was in a box her daughter got from a neighbor along with other bears he was trying to sell.
In her Facebook post, Fields says her daughter had the bear for a few hours before she realized it had a 'button' inside and a recorded message. The message says, "Merry Christmas from Afghanistan. Daddy misses you. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I'll see you soon, I love you!"

Fields said the story really hit home for her because her husband is a Marine and just returned not long ago from his fourth deployment.
"It broke my heart," she said. "...we just know how hard it is."
The neighbor who gave away the bear said it came from a Goodwill store.
"Just hearing those few seconds of 'hi,' 'I'm okay' or 'I love you I miss you I'll see you soon,' those are just powerful words when he's gone," said Fields.
If you know who the bear belongs to and can help reunite him with his family, please message Amanda on her Facebook post below.
