Teen in serious condition after hit-and-run on Indy's northwest side

INDIANAPOLIS – A teen was injured in a hit-and-run accident Thursday afternoon on Indianapolis’ northwest side.

Police said a 14-year-old male was struck by a Black Chevy Impala while trying to cross the street in the 3800 block of Moller Road.

He was transported to Riley Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

Officers later located the Black vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.

The name of the victim has not been released.
