MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- Morgan County Sheriff's deputies arrested a teenager and 20-year-old following a 30-minute chase that traveled off-road and through a cornfield.
Police arrested 20-year-old Zebediah C. Featherston, of Poland, Indiana, along with a 17-year-old from Indianapolis on numerous charges between them, including resisting law enforcement with a motor vehicle, criminal recklessness, driving while never licensed and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police received a call Friday morning of a possible impaired driver traveling northbound on State Road 67 near Observatory Road.
A deputy located the vehicle shortly thereafter and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, at which point the vehicle sped off.
The juvenile driver led officers on a chase for nearly 30 minutes, driving off-road and through cornfields in an effort to escape.
The chase eventually ended peacefully on Knox Court in Morgan County.
