INDIANAPOLIS -- A teenager was shot in the head in a house on Indianapolis' northeast side Wednesday afternoon.
Police say the 16-year-old boy was unconscious when they found him in a house on the 3300 block of Wallace Avenue. He was taken to Eskenazi Health. His condition is unknown.
Family members in the house say the boy accidentally shot himself in the forehead while playing with a gun.
Investigators are still trying to find out exactly what happened.
