FISHERS, Ind. -- It's fun to dress your children up for special occasions but parents know little ones grow out of clothes so fast and that can get expensive.
Emma Hostetter used that idea for inspiration when she created "The Borrowed Boutique," a place where you can rent unique dress clothes for kids at a fraction of the cost.
A dress that retails for $200 can be borrowed for $30 to $40 over the course of four to eight days.
The store carries clothing and accessories for boys and girls, from infants to teens.
When you're done with the items, you can drop them off or ship them back.
The boutique takes care of dry cleaning and repairs.
Besides making little girls dreams come true, "The Borrowed Boutique" donates a portion of the proceeds from the rental of each piece to anon-profit organization called Esther's Childrenthat works against sex trafficking for girls.
"The Borrowed Boutique" is at 8890 East 116th Street, Suite 290 in Fishers.
