INDIANAPOLIS -- That loud roar you heard may have been from the annual ‘Miracle Ride’ for Riley Hospital.
Thousands of bikers ride through the streets, paying a visit to children being treated at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Heath. It’s the state’s largest and longest running motorcycle charity event, and many Riley kids and their parents lined up outside the hospital to wave to the bikers as they rode by.
This year was the 23rd Miracle Ride, and organizers say they have raised more than $4.7 million for Riley over that time period.
