INDIANAPOLIS -- Three people were arrested late Sunday night after an attempted robbery at a gas station on Indy's west side.
The attempted robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Thornton's gas station near the 6800 block of Washington Street.
Witnesses first noticed something strange inside the store. They called police -- who caught the three robbery suspects in the act.
Police say the witness who called 911 helped make sure this crime was solved.
"If you see something say something," IMPD Commander Michael Jefferson said. "Make the call. That's all we need is that one step, one point in the right direction to catch these guys."
