INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said three people were shot downtown early Saturday morning.
Michael Hewitt, a public affairs officer for IMPD, said all three suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting that happened at 351 N. Senate Ave. Two of the victims walked into Methodist Hospital in good condition.
Several nearby buildings were also struck by bullets, IMPD Capt. Karen Arrnet said on scene.
Police were questioning witnesses and victims, Arrnet said. It is not clear if they are looking for a suspect.
At this time, the identity of the victims have not been released.
