FIRST LOOK: Indianapolis Motor Speedway's newest event, Lights at the Brickyard

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is looking to brighten up your holiday with its newest seasonal event, Lights at the Brickyard. Tickets go on sale Sept. 7.

Running Nov. 18-20, Nov. 23-27 and Dec. 1-31, Lights at the Brickyard will feature:

  • 1.7 miles of driving course
  • 2 million lights  
  • 400 displays
  • 40 scenes

The course will include some of the IMS' road course track, oval and the famous, Yard of Bricks.

"Lights at the Brickyard is going to be another unforgettable event at IMS, mixing holiday cheer with our iconic facility," said Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles. "We're always busy from May through October here, but now we're thrilled to have this opportunity to engage with the community in the wintertime."

Attendees can purchase a Speedway Speedy Pass that allows them to skip the main line and access the event faster. Tickets are $40 for vehicles with up to 14 passengers and $100 for vehicles with 15 or more passengers. Only one ticket is needed per car.

Regularly-priced tickets will go on sale Nov. 18 for $20 and will increase to $30 from Dec. 30-31.
