GOLDSMITH, Ind. -- A man is facing multiple charges after state police say they found 300 marijuana plants growing in his Tipton County home along with thousands of dollars in processed marijuana and growing equipment. 

A joint drug investigation by the Indiana State Police, the Tipton Narcotics Team and the Tipton Police Department led detectives to a home on North Meridian Street in Goldsmith Tuesday afternoon. 

During the execution of a search, warrant police uncovered 300 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, approximately six pounds of processed marijuana, approximately $13,000 in hydroponic growing equipment and drug paraphernalia, according to state police. 

Matt Blessing, 34, was arrested and charged with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe, possession of a narcotic, dealing marijuana and two counts of possession of marijuana.
