SUNMAN, Ind. -- Southeastern Indiana police were investigating the fatal shooting of a 3-year-old Friday afternoon.
The shooting occurred just after 5 p.m. on Van Wedding Road in Sunman, Indiana.
RTV6 sister station WCPO reported the Dearborn County coroner had been called to the scene. The toddler was later confirmed to have been fatally shot with a .357 Magnum handgun.
