Degrafreed to plead guilty to wife's murder

An Indianapolis man accused of killing his second wife agreed to plead guilty to murder and battery charges Friday.

Tony Degrafreed, 50, was charged with the 2014 murder of his wife Rebecca.

Her body was found in the couple's bedroom in their home on the 5700 block of Laurel Hall Drive in July 2014. Police said a blood baseball bat and knife were found next to her.

Degrafreed is also accused of stabbing his wife's 19-year-old son, Jordan Yarbro.

At a pretrial hearing Friday, Degrafreed agreed to plead guilty to the charges. A sentencing hearing  was scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on October 2.

Degrafreed was previously convicted in March 1995 for the murder of this then-wife Stacy Degrafreed. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison, but only served 11 years.
