Motorcycle Ride Benefiting Deputy Koontz 

When: March 26 

Where: Grissom Air Museum, 1000 West Hoosier Blvd, Peru, Indiana 

One week after he was shot and killed while attempting to serve a warrant in Russiaville, the Howard County Sheriff's Department is assisting with the organization of a police escorted motorcycle ride to benefit the family of Deputy Carl Koontz. 

Koontz leaves behind a wife and 8-month-old son. The ride will directly benefit the family. Participants should bring a rose or a flower to place on the memorial at the Howard County Sheriff's Department. Registration begins at 1:00 p.m. The ride begins at 2:00 p.m. Police officers will escort the group of riders from Grissom to the Howard County Sheriff's Department in Kokomo. The cost is a $5 minimum donation. 

IMPD and Hubler Auto Group Easter Eggstravaganza

When: March 26 

Where: Hubler Chevrolet located at 8220 South US 31

IMPD officers, the Easter Bunny and the Pacers Fan Van will be at the eggstravaganza. There will be music, face painting, games, train rides, 7,000 hot dogs, eight inflatables and an Easter egg hunt featuring 15,000 candy filled eggs. 

Easter at the Zoo

When: March 26-27

Where: The Indianapolis Zoo 

Guests can meet the zoo's new arrivals, including 10 babies born within the past year. There will be an egg hunt, with no basket required. All guests who locate at least 10 of the 19 large animal-print egg signs throughout the zoo and White River Gardens will receive a special prize.

Fountain Square Music Festival 

When: March 25-26 

Where: Various venues in Fountain Square 

The festival includes a series of concerts over two days at various venues throughout the Fountain Square neighborhood, including the Fountain Square Theatre, The Hi-Fi, The White Rabbit Cabaret, Pioneer and at Joyful Noise Recordings.

Fort Harrison Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 26-27

Where: Fort Harrison State Park located at 5753 Glenn Road, Indianapolis 

Fort Harrison State Park will host its 2016 Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26 and at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27. The hunts last 20 minutes and take place at the park office. They are open to children ages 6 and younger. The program is free after paying the park entrance fee of $7 per in-state vehicle or $9 per out-of-state vehicle. 

Fishers Easter Egg Hunt

When: March 26

Where: Roy G. Holland Memorial Park 

The event is free and is open to children in second grade or younger. The egg hunt begins at 1:15 p.m. Pictures with the Easter Bunny start at noon. Parents must bring their own camera. 

Whitestown Easter Egg Hunt 

When: March 26

Where: Whitestown Municipal Complex 

The egg hunt starts at 10:00 a.m. and will also feature breakfast with the Easter Bunny.
