INDIANAPOLIS -- This weekend you'll start off the day with ice cream, find a one-of-a-kind vintage piece and then enjoy an afternoon at the pet carnival with your furry friend.

Here are your top six things to do in Indianapolis this weekend:

Ice Cream Social on the Circle

Monument Circle

Friday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

More than 30 celebrities will serve up ice cream sundaes on Monument Circle using local ingredients. The event will also include the Pacers Fan Van, a photobooth, face painting and more.

Treasure Hunt

Indiana Landmarks – 1201 Central Avenue

Saturday at 9 a.m.

Bargain shoppers, the Indiana Landmarks Treasure Hunt is what you’ve been waiting for. There will be more than 60 booths of collectibles and antiques to choose from. The Big, Big, Really Big, Sidewalk Sale at All Saints Episcopal Church will also take place during the same time.

Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m.

This two-day event will allow Indiana businesses to sample and sell their own locally grown products. Participating vendors are members of Indiana Grown and include: Best Boy, Urban Ladle, Simplicity, and Trader’s Point Creamery among others.

18th Annual Pet Carnival

Indianapolis Veterinary Emergency Center – 5245 Victory Drive

Saturday at 10 a.m.

Finally, a carnival all about animals. Bring your furry friend – and your leash – to a pet-filled day of vendors and area rescues. There will be adoptable pets, a splash zone, exotic animals, photo booth, pet caricatures and more.

Tater Tots & Beer Festival

Garfield Park – 2432 Conservatory Drive

Sunday at 3 p.m.

Drink all the beer you can – under legal limits – while enjoying a variety of tater tot varieties and live music. This 21 and over event will feature dozens of domestic, imported and crafted beers.
