Trader Joe's says it has been alerted by their supplier of in-shell, roasted pistachios that some of the products may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The products include Trader Joe's Dry Roasted & Unsalted Pistachios (UPC 0007 9990), Trader Joe's Dry Roasted & Salted Pistachios (UPC 0007 9983), Trader Joe's 50% Less Salt & Roasted & Salted Pistachios (UPC 0011 1348) with a "best if used by" date from Oct. 27 to Nov 4, 2016.

"Out of an abundance of caution, all lots of our Dry Roasted & Unsalted Pistachios, Roasted & Salted Pistachios, and 50% Less Salt Roasted & Salted Pistachios have been removed from store shelves and their sale has been suspended while the issue is investigated," an announcement on Trader Joe's website said

If you have purchased the products, you are urged to not eat them. You can return the product to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.

No illnesses have been reported so far.
