ZIONSVILLE, Ind. -- Traders Point Creamery's mission to nurture the Earth and grow natural, organic foods is leading to growth and expansion for the Zionsville farm.
The Indiana Grown movement is in full swing at the dairy farm where they make yogurt, cheese, milk, ice cream and more.
Behind the rolling pastures, farm tours and restaurant, the creamery is quietly expanding its profit and growth.
The dairy farm is now in 1,800 stories nationwide, expanding into stores like the new Fresh Thyme in Broad Ripple.
"Over the last five years, the whole grocery aisle has changed significantly," said Traders Point COO, Mark Vander Kooy. "You can just see that by going down the street to see all the new stores. The organic side, which we're in, the natural side, it's the fastest growing side of the grocery."
Vander Kooy says Traders Point products are in just about every major retailer and independent store in central Indiana.
He says that's no small feat in what he calls an extremely competitive dairy business.
