INDIANAPOLIS -- More than three dozen counties were under travel advisories Tuesday morning as dangerous winter weather continued into Tuesday.
Thirty-nine counties were placed under "yellow" travel advisories due to winter weather conditions. Two counties -- Tipton and Knox -- were placed in the "orange" advisory level.

The yellow advisory means routine travel may be restricted and individuals should use caution.
An orange level means only essential travel is recommended.

INDOT snow crews and the Indy Snow Force were scheduled to remain active overnight in preparation for anticipated snowfall.
