INDIANAPOLIS -- A former IPS counselor accused of having sex with students appeared in court on Tuesday.

Shana Taylor, 37, was charged last February with child seduction.

Taylor's trial was supposed to start Wednesday but her attorney requested that it be moved back, citing outstanding evidence.

The trial will now begin on July 5.

Taylor allegedly had sex with two then 16-year-old students from the Longfellow Alternative School where she worked as a counselor.

The school board voted unanimously to terminate Taylor's employment in March.
