INDIANAPOLIS—Elijah Lacey was 18-years-old when he was gunned down outside an east side Indianapolis liquor store.
Now, the suspect in that murder, who was also 18 at the time, is on trial.
Lacy was found dead in a pickup truck on May 28, 2018 in the 2100 block of North Post Road, in the parking lot of the Crown Liquor store.
The suspect, 18 year-old Anthony Steele, was arrested a few days later and charged with murder.
Lacy was shot a number of times and died at the scene, according to police.
