FRANKLIN, Ind. – Evidence of a murder-suicide has been found in the investigation of two people found dead in a pickup truck early Saturday morning in Johnson Co.
Jonie Snider,37, and Gregory McCray, 49, were pronounced dead after a man deer watching in the area of County Road 550 South and Schoolhouse Road found the pair in the back of the truck.
Deputies said evidence suggest a murder/suicide as a firearm was found at the scene.
It appears McCray shot Snider and then turned the gun on himself, deputies say.
The pair lived in the same mobile home community at Countyview Franklin and evidence was also found in their trailer that suggests a murder-suicide.
An autopsy will take place soon.
