Two teens arrested, accused of homicide, robbery

INDIANAPOLIS -- Two people were arrested Tuesday in connection with a homicide and multiple robberies across Indianapolis. 

Police say Zion Smith, 16, and Jaquisha Love, 18, shot and killed a man and injured his female passenger on July 19 in the 3300 block of Robson Street.

Police learned there was a robbery later that day, and believe one of the suspects from the homicide was injured in the robbery. 

Again on July 19, police were called to a report of a person shot, later found out to be Smith. Love was taken into custody at the same time on a drugs charge. 

Charges have been filed against Smith and Love for charges of murder, several attempted murders, and several robberies.

Smith was arrested on adult charges.
