INDIANAPOLIS -- Two Indianapolis teens were shot Wednesday afternoon on the near-north side of the city.
The shootings happened around 5:07 p.m. on the 800 block of Eugene Street, a few blocks south of Crown Hill Cemetery.
Indianapolis police said a male and female teen were shot in their lower extremities.
One or more suspects reportedly ran south behind houses following the shooting.
Both victims were taken to Eskenazi Hospital with what were thought to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the shootings were not immediately known.
