GASTON, Ind. -- Two exotic kittens were found alone in a barn in Gaston, Indiana, on Saturday.
The kittens were brought to the Muncie Animal Rescue Fund, who said they were so young their eyes had not yet opened.
Muncie ARF said a local veterinarian determined the cats were of some exotic breed, although the exact type was not determined.
The cats were then taken to the Exotic Feline Rescue in Center Point, Indiana, where one of them later died.
The Animal Rescue Fund said the remaining kitten is being bottle fed and is in an incubator.
It's possible there may be more kittens in the litter. Anyone who thinks they've found another kitten from the litter is asked to bring them to the Animal Rescue Fund immediately.
