INDIANAPOLIS -- Metropolitan School District of Pike Township School Police found an unloaded handgun in the backpack of a male student Friday morning.
Another student reported the situation to administrators.
The student with the unloaded gun in his backpack was arrested.
The school notified parents with a voicemail.
