INDIANAPOLIS — USA Diving on Thursday announced it will be moving its national office from Indianapolis to Colorado Springs in the fourth quarter of the year.
In an announcement posted to the Team USA page, officials said the move will allow USA Diving to cut its overhead and take advantage of being in the same town as the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee and work closely with other Colorado Springs-based national governing bodies.
USA Diving has been headquartered in Indianapolis since 1981.
"We are so grateful to Indianapolis for being a wonderful city in which to be headquartered for the last 38 years," Jack Perkins, acting CEO of USA Diving, said in a statement. "The Indiana Sports Corporation has actively supported us by putting on first rate diving events and we look forward to returning to Indianapolis next summer for our Olympic Trials."
