INDIANAPOLIS — No injuries were reported after a vacant building collapsed Saturday afternoon on the north side of Indianapolis.
According to information from the Indianapolis Fire Department, the building stood at W. 28th St. and N. Capitol Ave. The collapse shut down southbound traffic on Capitol between 28th and 29th Streets.
IFD said a caller reported seeing the roof collapse and then the walls fell.
A house to the north of the building was evacuated as a precaution, IFD said.
