INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was in critical condition Tuesday afternoon after being shot on the southeast side.
The shooting occurred around 3:00 p.m. on the 1500 block of Renton Street.
Police said the victim was shot in the arm and the side.

The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police detained a person at the scene spotted trying to flee the area.
