Man killed in shooting on north side identified

INDIANAPOLIS -- An man killed in a shooting on the north side early Thursday morning has been identified.

Police were called to the 3400 block of Ralston Avenue at 12:01 a.m. Thursday morning on a report of a person shot.

They arrived to find 33-year-old Rodney Brown suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Police said the victim was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in extremely critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
