INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was shot multiple times Thursday afternoon on the west, according to Indianapolis police.
Emergency dispatchers were alerted around 1:40 p.m. Thursday to a person shot at a Phillips 66 gas station on the 2400 block of Lafayette Road.
Police arrived to find a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Police said it appeared the victim had been shot nearby and traveled to the gas station.
No other details were immediately available.
