INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed Tuesday evening in a neighborhood just off Fall Creek Parkway.
The shooting occurred around 11:00 p.m. on the 3500 block of Evergreen Avenue, just a short distance south of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
Police said at least two suspects entered an apartment in the area and killed 60-year-old Guy Hornaday.
Officers said they believed they had a description of the suspect vehicle provided by witnesses.

The shooting was the second fatal one Tuesday.
Around 2:20 p.m., IMPD officers responded to a call of shots fired on the 3300 block of North Denny Street to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was later identified as Charles Jones Jr., 23.
