SHELBY COUNTY, Ind. -- A man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run on State Road 9 south of Shelbyville.
The incident happened just before 10 p.m. on State Road 9 about 10 miles south of Shelbyville.
Police say Joshua Turner, 20, fell from a moving vehicle, then was struck by a vehicle that was headed north.
Police temporarily shut down State Road 9 in the area to investigate the collision.
There is no vehicle description available.
