INDIANAPOLIS -- Carly Fiorina took a moment during her announcement as Sen. Ted Cruz's running mate Wednesday to sing a song to his two young daughters.
Fiorina said she's developed a lot of affection for Caroline and Catherine Cruz while traveling around the country campaigning with their father.

Fiorina was announced as Cruz's running mate at the Pan Am Plaza in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Cruz was in Indianapolis on the same day as rival Donald Trump, who held at rally at the Indiana state Fairgrounds. Former IU men's basketball coach Bobby Knight joined Trump to give the New York billionaire his endorsement for president.

Democrat Bernie Sanders was also in Indiana for a rally in Bloomington.
