NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A lot of crazy things can happen when you go to watch a band perform live, but we've never seen this one before.
Ty Anderson of Fishers was at Robert's Western World in Nashville on Friday.
For those who aren't familiar, RTV6's Brad Brown says Robert's is one of the old, old honky tonks on Broadway and it's usually pretty packed.
Anderson was shooting video of the Don Kelley Band playing, when suddenly the drummer fell out of the window several feet to the sidewalk below.
The drummer, Stan Saxton, told a Knoxville tv station that said he stood up to thank the crowd at the end of the night and fell through the glass.
"My ear monitor pulled me back, felt like somebody grabbed me by the shirt and yanked me to the ground. It was like the window wasn't even there. The next thing I knew I was looking up at shards of glass going, 'how did I get out here?'" said Saxton.
Believe it or not, Saxton went across the street and played another four hours after his fall.
He found out Saturday that he'd broken a rib.
But the show must go on, so Saxton was back on stage Saturday night.
