GREENWOOD, Ind. – You may remember little Adam Shuck from an RTV6 report. He’s one of just a handful of people in the country with a rare disorder that prevents him from walking or eating on his own.

And now, thanks to community support, the 2-year-old is getting life-changing equipment his family couldn’t otherwise afford.
In March, doctors diagnosed Adam with Helsmoortel-Van Der Aa Syndrome. He's one of less than 2 dozen known cases in the U.S.
The condition means his brain function and muscle tone are not where they should be.
But now, thanks to community efforts, things are changing at the Shuck house.
