INDIANAPOLIS – A civil rights documentary highlighting the struggles African Americans have faced on the road to equality premieres this weekend.
“Indiana Trailblazers” focuses on black Hoosiers who impacted Indiana before, during and after the Civil Rights Movement of the 20th century.
Clover Lane Media producer Archie Allen joined us to talk about some of the notable names in the documentary, including former RTV6 anchor and reporter Barbara Boyd. Boyd was the first black female TV newscaster in the Circle City.
