INDIANAPOLIS – For longtime Wayne Township teacher Bonita Bluiett, who is now retired, missing out on a new school year has been bittersweet. But the sweetness comes from knowing her own daughter has replaced her in the very same classroom she taught in for decades.
Bonita taught at Stout Field Elementary School for 34 years.
And she’s very happy that her 5th-grade classroom is now captained by her very own daughter.
Her daughter, Traci, is just as happy to be carrying her mother’s torch.
