LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- A brief EF-1 tornado that destroyed a guard shack in Tippecanoe County this week was caught on security camera.
The tornado touched down for a short time Thursday around 4:40 p.m. at Wabash National Trailers in Lafayette.

The National Weather Service estimated the tornado's wind speed maxed out at 100 miles per hour, and was on the ground for approximately 50 yards.
In that distance, it destroyed a guard shack, rolled a car and nearly rolled over a construction trailer.
No injuries were reported as a result of the tornado.
