INDIANAPOLIS – A battle is brewing between Pokemon Go players and an Indy golf course. The dispute has become a social media battle after the course set up an event for Pokemon Go players and then canceled it.
But it’s not the simple cancelation making people mad: It’s how it was done.
Sahm Golf Course’s owners say they never imagined Pokemon Go would become an issue.
But due to more players coming onto the private golf course, it decided to shut down the course for a night to allow players to hunt Pokemon.
And that event made both the Pokemon players and the golfers mad, and prompted a Facebook post by Sahm Golf Course.
That post has prompted a social media firestorm.
