RICHMOND, Ind. -- Human remains were found in a farm field in Richmond Monday afternoon.
Wayne County Sheriff Jeff Cappa says crews were called out to the field on Turn Pike Road after someone discovered possible human remains.
Sheriff Cappa says their investigation is "just getting started," but he does say the remains are human.
He says he cannot provide any more specific details at this time, including whether they believe foul play is suspected.
The incident remains under investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
