INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Animal Care Services is offering free adoptions through Sunday, September 15.
The shelter is currently dealing with an insane number of animals and has nowhere to put many of them. The cages in both the dog and cat rooms are completely full and many animals are now being placed in temporary cages in the shelter's temp test rooms.
Starting September 16, adoptions will remain free with a donation of a bag of Halloween candy.
If you're looking to adopt a new family member, you can visit IACS during their open business hours.
