INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Public Schools Police were called to Arsenal Tech High School on Thursday after a weapon was found in a student's back pack.
According to Indianapolis Public School officials, no other students were around when the weapon was found.

“A weapon was found in a student’s backpack at Arsenal Technical High School today. No other students were around when the weapon was discovered. IPS Police were immediately called and IPS protocol was followed. Student safety and security will continue to be our priority as we provide a positive educational experience.”
On Wednesday, a day prior to this incident, a Muncie High School student was found with a gun outside of school premises.
